Let’s Talk Visibility
By Lisa, Director at IPHM
Visibility isn’t about being loud or promotional, it’s about being seen for who you truly are. The work we do transforms lives, but often our quiet dedication means people don’t always know we exist. This blog is a gentle reminder to show up with confidence and intention to let your authenticity, your values, and your light be visible to those who need your work most. As dedicated IPHM practitioners and training providers, we often pour so much of our energy into helping others that we forget one very important thin, people can’t work with you if they can’t find you.You can have the most powerful, transformative offerings, but without visibility, your magic can remain hidden. Now, visibility isn’t about shouting from the rooftops or turning yourself into something you’re not. It’s about allowing people to see who you really are: the heart, the values, and the energy behind your work. When someone comes across your name online, maybe through a recommendation, the IPHM directory, or social media, what do they find?
Does your online presence reflect the warmth and integrity you bring to your clients in real life?
Does it clearly show how people can connect with you or work with you? And does it give a genuine sense of your passion, your personality, and the transformations you help create? This is your moment to be intentional about how you show up.
A Little Reflection Exercise:
Take a few minutes to look at your website, your IPHM directory listing, or your social media profiles and ask yourself:
- Does this reflect who I am right now?
- Is my message clear and aligned with my current services or values?
- Does it show the real me, the warmth, compassion, and dedication that clients experience in person?
You don’t need to overhaul everything. Sometimes small tweaks make a big difference. Updating your bio, refreshing a few photos, or sharing a personal insight can all help people feel connected to your world.
Stay Visible Without the Overwhelm
You don’t have to post every day to be consistent. I personally plan around two to three weeks of light, intentional content, enough to stay visible, without the pressure. Little glimpses behind the scenes, a client win (with permission), a quote that inspires you, or a moment of reflection can go a long way. People love seeing the real journey, not just the polished moments.
Community Connection
If you’d like to build visibility within our community, share in our IPHM Members' Only Hub on Facebook!
- Your favourite platform where people can connect with you
- ONE line about what you do
It’s a lovely way for others in our IPHM family to find you, support you, and collaborate if it feels aligned. And please remember: this isn’t about perfection or pressure. Every time you show up with authenticity, you remind people that real, heart-led practitioners exist and that’s something truly powerful.
Visibility is not vanity; it’s service.
