The STILL Method

The STILL Method is a methodical approach to helping adults and children overcome anxiety. Unlike other approaches we train people to follow a method based on a sound understanding of anxiety it’s causes and effects.
Because the STILL method is simple to follow it allows parents and teachers to use techniques to empower children.
The STILL method teaches techniques to deal with immediate crisis such as panic attacks, but also demonstrates easy to learn ways of dealing with painful memories and recurring thoughts.
In recent years there has been an unparalleled rise in the number of children and young people presenting with high levels of anxiety and associated conditions. Schools and parents are having to devote more and more time to managing anxiety.
At the same time traditional services are more stretched and support for young people reducing or are overstretched.
When creating STILL I wanted to give people tools that’s allowed them to feel confident in supporting children, without them needing to take on long intensive training.
STILL Method brings together the best techniques from mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, Neuro linguistic programming and hypnotherapy, into a system and set of tools that can equip any teacher or parent.
