Dear Sir or Madam,
Whoever you may be, you must know that illness, in general, is an enigma that must be solved not only from a strictly biological perspective, but also from psycho-mental and spiritual perspectives. Optimal health is a state of complete harmony amongst body, mind, and soul. Health problems can run so deep that they cannot be alleviated or treated arbitrarily, without first investigating—and then removing—the causes (deterring, predisposing, and risk factors, as well as the organism’s specific reactivity) that lie beneath them.
“Before healing someone, ask him whether he is ready to give up what made him ill,” said none other than the erudite and eminent Hippocrates (460 – 370 BC), recognised as the father of medicine. Clearly, Hippocrates was also referring to a host of possible causes: overt or insidious acute or chronic infections with bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites; ionising and non-ionizing radiation (e.g., gamma rays, X-rays, electromagnetic, nuclear, etc.); heavy metals and other toxins/neurotoxins (such as xenobiotics); psychological traumas acquired during life or congenital ones passed on to the child —in utero—from mother, father, or even ancestors through destructive cellular memories; erroneous and toxic mind-sets, habits, convictions, and beliefs (including superstitions) that can profoundly change the organism’s dynamics; unbalanced, unhealthy diet; biophotonics disturbances; nutritional deficiencies; organ insufficiencies leading to psychosomatic manifestations; harmful environmental factors; spiritual imbalances acquired during life or inherited; pollution; psychological and oxidative stress; epigenetic influences; certain vices, and more.
Every illness has one or more causes, and every cause, once identified, can be removed through appropriate measures — causing its harmful effects (the subjective or objective symptoms and signs) to disappear as well. A few diseases are single-cause, yet the vast majority are multi-cause, multisystemic, and multidimensional.
“To wish to be healed is the beginning of healing!” — Seneca.
Taking care of body, mind, and soul becomes easier only with a firm, strong will and with knowledge of what to do. Willpower and information grant extraordinary strength. Yet earthly life is far from ideal: the world is often cruel, unjust, and hard to understand, and illness and the hardships of life can hurt, humiliate, and sometimes even crush us. Nevertheless, never forget that you would not have been granted the gift of life — whose greatest blessing is health — had God not filled Nature’s treasure chest with countless remedies: some hidden in the sap of roots, fields, and forests; others gathered and refined by industrious bees, able to awaken the organism’s direct or indirect resources for balance, fortification, and healing. Depending on your daily lifestyle and the extent to which deep-rooted pathological causes are eliminated, these resources can maintain or improve the health to which you are entitled. Nature is God’s creation, and its remedies are amongst the hands through which He can help you. Not in vain did Hippocrates say, “Let food be your medicine (functional food) and medicine your food (nutraceutical).”
Many of us grasp health’s importance only once it is lost. Please try three simple exercises:
- Recall the most beautiful moments you enjoyed thanks to the health that allowed them.
- Would you like to forget the ugliest moments endured under cruel suffering from one or more illnesses?
- Dare you imagine being terribly sick, unable to enjoy anything for weeks, months, or years?
These exercises reveal why health matters so much. Yet true health is not the “simple, one-sided, fragile, apparent” kind but the “optimal, holistic, multifaceted, robust” kind, which requires balancing your entire being at every level. To attain such optimal, holistic health — a restoration of the adaptive functional balance of the body-mind-soul triad — through a new way of thinking and a complex approach, you must realise that you are far more than flesh and bone: you are a genuine “universe” of thoughts, words, energy, vibration, frequency, colour, information, emotions and, above all, light (biophotons) — all crowned by a soul that will one day return Home, to the Source, to the Creator, to God.
“Man is, essentially, a being of light.”
This historic statement from the 1970s, scientifically confirmed, belongs to the renowned biophysicist Fritz-Albert Popp, acknowledged as the father of biophotonics¹. Modern research affirms that humanity is God’s creation — light from Light — living by light and even emitting it. Astonishingly, our food, beyond proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and fibre, contains biophotons. Raw natural remedies, from plants (vegetables, fruits, legumes, medicinal herbs, etc.) to wondrous bee products (propolis, pollen, royal jelly, etc.), form cocktails of natural bioactive compounds and of biophotons — light — that nourish all earthly creatures whenever they consume raw natural foods. Biophotons facilitate cellular communication, coordinate metabolic processes, and store and transfer energy; Popp (2007) and Van Wijk (2014) further suggest they may play roles in our awareness and consciousness².
Maintaining or improving holistic health rests entirely on the condition of the body–mind–soul triad. Alongside biochemistry, biophotonics, energy flow, and organ function, the hygiene of mind and soul profoundly echoes throughout the body and must not be neglected. Faulty, toxic habits and beliefs —including harmful superstitions—can deeply disrupt the organism; psychological traumas, whether acquired or inherited, can forge emotional chains that trigger illness and impede personal growth³˒⁴. Thus a psychic cleansing —a detox of the “collective cellular mind”—is imperative. The mind must be detoxified, fed with beneficial, harmonising information, and balanced by optimising bodily biochemistry, energetics, and biophotonics through systemic detoxification, balanced nutrition, restoration of the microbiota, and erasure of destructive cellular memories. Hence the saying: a healthy mind in a healthy body.
Spiritual hygiene—the care of the Soul—is equally essential. Spiritual imbalances, whether acquired or congenital, must be taken seriously and resolved through spiritual remedies: prayer, fasting, love, compassion, and unconditional good deeds. Drawing nearer to God, each in balanced measure, is vital for the soul within a holistic approach to health. Scientifically, humankind is a being of light whose inner and outer facets are interlinked. We are a complex universe requiring whole-person analysis and equilibrium across all our interconnected parts: sárx (flesh, matter), sōma (body, organised flesh), psychè (soul, seat of feelings), pneuma (spirit, the soul’s higher, subtler part), noūs (mind, reason, the spirit’s highest, subtlest expression). Saint Paul referred to a “division between soul and spirit.” Though soul and spirit share one substance, they are not separate entities but one⁵. Therefore, the human being is a whole that must be viewed and balanced as such if health is to be preserved or improved. Given this complexity, professional, responsible, and holistic healthcare is both justified and obligatory.
On this foundation, I invite you to undertake with me a wide-ranging investigation through an impressive, thoughtfully correlated set of questions probing every key aspect of your global health: metabolic indices, bodily trends, determinant, predisposing, and risk factors, specific reactivity, psycho-mental status, organ function, spiritual hygiene, major lifestyle errors, dietary mistakes, evolutionary traits, and the interplay between health and illness components — e.g., physical activity–nature exposure–hydration–sleep; nutrition–epigenetics–detoxification–longevity; gut–microbiota–digestion–immunity; infection–toxicity–deficiency–inflammation; pollution–biophotonics disruption–organ insufficiency–psycho somatization; psychological and oxidative stress–mitochondria–premature ageing–dysmetabolism; destructive cellular memories–erroneous mindset–emotional chains–emotional healing. These mirror your medical history, current symptoms and signs, clinical diagnoses, and will inform an optimal, complex, holistic, personalised therapeutic strategy.
Health is invaluable. Do everything in your power to maintain or improve it, because without it, everything can become… inhuman.
Respectfully,
Holistic Therapist Adam Elisei
