German-American holistic healthcare practitioner Eva Lipton-Ormand brings experience from the performing arts, fine arts, literature, and education from two continents to her practice.
A solid background in dance (Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre,
Melissa Hayden, Margaret Craske, among others) has given Eva a first-hand understanding of kinesthesia and kinesiology as well as the effects of injury. Eva's exploration of The Three Bodies Institute's Biodynamic Osteopathic Manual Therapeutic Techniques and certification in Osteodouce (2025) is currently meaningfully enhancing her practice of biodynamic/Polarity-based Core Synchronism.
Eva is a 2007 graduate of New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics' 800-hour program in Swedish Massage, introductory Polarity, Reflexology, Herbal Studies, Bach Flower Remedies, TCM, among other modalities. She was certified in lymphatic drainage (CLT) in 2016. The exploration of Neural Reset Therapy and Quantum Alignment Technique has been another focus of Eva's work.
Studying under Robert Stevens, founder of Core Synchronism, Eva received certification in Core Synchronism in 2009, in which she is trained up to Level 7 (2013/2015) even as she continues to study under her mentor. This modality is foundational for her work though she continues to explore how other craniosacral models (Upledger/Peirsman among others) interact with the cerebrospinal fluid.
Eva is featured in an article by Emily Rapp about Core Synchronism in the February 2014 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.
Eva attended the 2021 Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate program with The Embody Lab. Somatics has become a particular area of interest which is accessible within the scope of practice in all modalities Eva uses. Fascial unwinding movement based on Anatomy Trains, Feldenkrais, and the Alexander Technique are among the systems she has been exploring. Somatics also informs her writing.*
Eva received her certification in Classical Homeopathy in April, 2013 from the Homeopathy School International in Boulder. She has been interested in homeopathy since 1997 when her first child was born and began formal training the end of 2010. She regularly taught the Introduction to Homeopathy class at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics from 2013 to 2018. Eva has studied the Böninghausen Repertory, Dr. Divya Chhabra's Leap to the Simillimum method, Sankaran's Sensation method, Predictive Homeopathy, and Dr. Joshis' MAP system. The study of Dr. Sehgal's Revolutionized Homeopathy method is adding interesting insights for for a more direct case taking form which focuses on the current mental and emotional state of the client. Working with the negative effects of environmental toxins is another area of interest, which is supported well by manual work.
Eva takes cases in both English and German.
Eva works with clients of all ages.
