Professional Training & Qualifications
I qualified in Aromatherapy in 1997 at the Shirley Price International College of Aromatherapy, in Hinckley, Leicestershire (now the Penny Price Academy of Aromatherapy).
Shirley Price is widely regarded as one of the pioneers who helped establish aromatherapy as a professional discipline in the United Kingdom.
Through her teaching, writing, and development of educational standards, she played a major role in moving aromatherapy into a more structured complementary healthcare profession.
Later, I carried out my Clinical Aromatherapy training with the Integrative Therapies Training Unit at the Christie Hospital in Manchester in Cancer and Supportive Care: Aromatherapy Pathway.
Personalised Aromatherapy Treatments
I have worked with people who have cancer, carers, learning disabilities, autism as well as people who are generally stressed and suffering from muscle tension, headaches migraines etc.
The aim of the Aromatherapy treatment is to achieve deep calm and emotional balance through personalised aromatherapy sessions.
Each client receives their own personalised blend which is unique to them.
Client Testimonials
“Personalised experience from Sheila who is an aromatherapy expert. Consistently excellent always a treat to go”, Simeon.
“Absolutely wonderful experience. Will definitely return. Sheila's full body massage with essential oils was excellent. The initial consultation included a chat regarding which oils were preferred and also the qualities and benefits of the oils chosen. The therapy bed was heated as were the Fluffy towels which were used. All together an excellent service. Thank you Sheila”. Alison
Crystal Gua Sha & Facial Therapy
Recently I trained with the renowned Gua Sha Specialist Katie Blake (The Skin Whisperer) who provides ancient techniques integrated with modern wellness practices.
I am now an IPHM accredited Crystal Gua Sha Facial Therapist and a Crystal Dome Facial Therapist. Skin conditions such as seasonal skin sensitivity, fine lines, wrinkles and loss of elasticity and other skin are addressed with the facial routine.
Gua Sha is a holistic, non-invasive treatment promoting deep relaxation and stress relief while visibly lifting and sculpting the face naturally.

Workshops, Education & Community Support
I also develop and deliver workshops producing presentations and training materials.
I am qualified to teach adults and have extensive experience as a former Lecturer in Aromatherapy in Further Education.
I work with Charities who support people living with addictions, dementia and the general public. Topics such as Seasonal Health Challenges, Immune support and Stress and Anxiety Management, Sleeping problems and Menopause are well received by people who want a natural alternative to medication.
I feel I offer a unique combination of:
- Clinical + a holistic approach = delivering treatments that are both therapeutic and indulgent
- Ancient+ modern application = Gua Sha + Clinical Aromatherapy
- Educational Content Creator = clinically informed education on natural medicine to transform health and wellbeing.
