About Beverley Harper

Beverley Harper is an experienced integrative therapist, trainer and supervisor with over 20 years of clinical practice and 18 years of training and supervising therapists.

She holds an MSc in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, alongside accreditation with EMDR Europe, the Association for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT), and the National Hypnotherapy Society.

Her training spans REBT, EMDR, ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy, EFT, and clinical hypnotherapy, a breadth of expertise that informs a genuinely integrative approach to both client work and professional training.

A Philosophy of Growth, Not Fixing

At the heart of Beverley's practice is a simple but profound premise: no one is broken, and no one needs fixing.

She works from the understanding that all behaviours have a function, that what can look like resistance, sabotage or struggle is most often protection, and that every person carries within them an innate capacity to grow.

This is not a therapeutic technique but a fundamental orientation, one that shapes every client session, every training she delivers, and every supervision space she holds.

Trauma-Informed and Nervous System Led

Beverley's clinical philosophy rests on a conviction that meaningful cognitive and psychological change is only possible from within a regulated nervous system.

Her work is authentically trauma-informed, not as a framework applied from the outside, but as a genuine way of being with people.

She works with the whole person, understanding that the body and the nervous system are not the backdrop to therapy but its very foundation.

Supporting Deep Self-Worth and Lasting Change

Her specialist focus is helping people reconnect with a deep and lasting sense of self-worth, not as a goal to be achieved, but as something to be remembered.

Drawing on over two decades of clinical experience, she integrates hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, nervous system literacy, and evidence-based cognitive approaches to create conditions in which real, embodied change becomes possible.

Training and Supervising Practitioners

As a trainer and supervisor of 18 years, Beverley brings the same philosophy into the professional development of therapists and coaches.

She is the creator of The Integrative Hypnotherapy Practitioner Training, a pioneering programme for qualified practitioners seeking to integrate clinical hypnotherapy into their existing practice.

The training is grounded in a rigorously trauma-informed framework, integrating REBT, ACT, CFT, EMDR principles, and nervous system literacy within a hypnotherapeutic model and is designed to develop practitioners who are not only technically skilled but clinically grounded, ethically thoughtful, and genuinely transformative in their work.

Working Online Across the UK

Beverley works predominantly online and is based in the UK.
