Lucy Thame

I'm Lucy, founder of LuceZen Advanced Bodywork & Training, based in Shipley, Bradford. I'm a qualified sports therapist and advanced massage therapist with years of hands-on experience working with real pain, real tension, and real bodies — not just routines.

I trained in the Ayurvedic tradition in India, and my work is built around the relationship between fascia and the lymphatic system, and the deeper connection between body and mind. I believe the fascia holds physical, emotional and spiritual tension, and that understanding why a technique works matters just as much as knowing how to do it.

LuceZen runs both a client-facing treatment practice and a training academy. My courses go beyond standard massage training — they're rooted in myofascial release, somatic principles, and trauma-informed bodywork, so every therapist who trains with me leaves genuinely able to help people, not just follow a sequence.

Groups are kept small, capped at six students, so every person gets real, individual attention.
