About Me
I am a restorative yoga teacher, sound practitioner and the founder of Shala Sound Training Academy. My work focuses on helping others slow down, reconnect and experience the therapeutic benefits of Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Breathwork and sound healing.
My Journey
My journey began with a 200‑hour Anusara Elements® yoga teacher training in 2022, followed by a Diploma in Sound Therapy with Sound Healing School UK in 2023. From there, my passion for sound naturally evolved into teaching and training others.
Shala Sound Training Academy
At Sound Shala Training Academy, I offer accredited sound therapy training from my dedicated garden shala in Woking. This cosy, peaceful space provides the ideal environment for small‑group learning, hands‑on practice and immersive exploration of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gong and other therapeutic instruments.
My Teaching Approach
My training approach blends technical skill, energetic awareness and intuitive development. I support students in building confidence, understanding safe practice, and learning how to deliver sound baths with clarity, presence and compassion.
From Corporate to Wellness
Before entering the wellness field, I spent many years in the corporate world within Accounts, Taxation and software development. My own transition into this work is a reminder that anyone can follow their calling and I’m passionate about helping others begin their journey into sound.
