Pregnancy Massage Accredited 1 Day Training Course
This one-day Pregnancy Massage course is designed for qualified massage therapists who wish to safely and confidently adapt their existing massage skills when treating clients during pregnancy.
The course focuses specifically on the additional knowledge and practical techniques required for pregnancy massage and is intended as an add-on qualification rather than a full massage therapy qualification.
Students will learn about the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy, the benefits of pregnancy massage, appropriate client consultation, contraindications and precautions, safe positioning and draping, and how to adapt existing massage techniques throughout the different stages of pregnancy.
Training is delivered on a 1-to-1 basis, allowing for individual guidance and plenty of practical experience. The morning focuses on theory, safety and treatment considerations, followed by practical hands-on training with a live model in the afternoon.
Students receive a comprehensive Pregnancy Massage manual, and an IPHM-accredited certificate upon successful completion.
